YUP ... It's Me ETSY FEATURED SELLER 9/9/9!

Even though I submitted this picture of me looking a little like a giddy, red headed chipmunk

(not that I have a problem with red-headed chipmunks, but I swear my hair is not red and my teeth not quite so ... chicletty ... and giddy not a word usually associated with me)

and I do ramble on about turtles (no clue what I was thinking with this) and blanked on all my favorite books and music for the interview -

I AM FLIPPIN' OUT and have wanted to post about this since my post on keeping secrets weeks ago!

So.. I will let you know how this goes - maybe cork will save the world and get us all healthcare or maybe you will just be stuck with my kisser up there for 48 hours- which is about my usual expiration date for people so this should be ok ....

Fabulous Friday Finds

Hoping everyone has a wonderful Labor Day - UGH - the last offical summer weekend (don't worry I'm sure the thermometer will climb back up into the 90's as soon as we put away our summer duds).

Happy Labor Day!

This Friday's finds include everything at Ruche where the clothes (and prices) are amazing, Mini Moderns gorgeous patterns on pillows and wallpaper, amazing planter installation art, my tea obsession continues with Nathalia Ponomareva’s amazing little origami teabags, why buy a rake when you have an old Smith Corona handy, yummy meringue rings, Miniature Rhino's ingenius embroidered constellations and the totally amazing Yael Fran's comic book artist collaborations (and Yael has a locket)!

Having a Breakdown ....

UPDATE
Things I have broken this week:

1. A fingernail (but this is a good thing because it was my last "long" one, so now they all match again- actually that sounds kind of creepy like I just let them grow all wild- which I might if I didn't break them all the time- but I don't, so it isn't)

2. A really cute little juice glass from a set in the sale section of Anthropologie that I will never find again, so now when hubby has his Sunday morning OJ - I will be drinking straight from the carton (also not a bad thing now that I think about it)

3. A test tube (that was bubble wrapped and fell just 2 feet from my shipping table when I was on the other side of the room - spooky ... and it didn't just break ... it shattered ... which was totally impossible, but happened anyway)

4. A Sephora bronzing powder compact

5. A replacement Sephora bronzing powder compact

6. My heart (sort of, but more on this another time)

UPDATE
Things I have NOT broken this week:

1. Anybody else's heart, I think

2. A promise to anyone (unless I crossed my fingers when I made it, of course)

3. The law (we'll just exclude traffic situations with this one)

4. Any land speed records (again we will exclude any traffic situations)

5. Out of my rut
